LIMUN 2022: The 23rd Edition

The 23rd edition of LIMUN is underway! After a year primarily spent behind the screen, the 2022 LIMUN conference is back in-person, welcoming well over 600 delegates to the hustle and bustle of London.

Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, the secretariat worked hard behind the scenes to ensure a safe and rewarding experience. LIMUN 2022 gives delegates, ambassadors and chairs the chance to practise multilateralism and diplomacy in a physical setting, with fiery face-to-face debates and fruitful collaboration. With smaller committee sizes, participants are encouraged to immerse themself in the discourse. This year’s conference has something for everyone, with an increased number of speakers, training and academic events. As a result, there is an opportunity for everyone to consolidate their skills and also learn something new.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Future-proofing Today for a More Resilient Tomorrow’. Looking ahead is a critical component of tackling core challenges on an international scale. In addressing the geopolitical climate, delegates are challenged to address solutions that will impact generations to come rather than focus on the present day. A better future starts now, with considerations and concrete action fundamental to preparing for all that lies ahead.
