Shape the future of MUN Circuit
Do you have what it takes to join the Secretariat of one of the world's most prestigious and global Model United Nations? See who we are looking for and apply today!
Deadline: 14.10.2024
How to apply?
Applicants must submit their CV and Cover Letter to secretarygeneral@limun-hs.org.uk cc-ing dsg@limun-hs.org.uk by 14.10.2024. Successful applicants will be interviewed to assess their suitability for the role. Following interviews, candidates will receive notification of the outcome of their application within two weeks.
Applicants are welcome to apply for two roles. Applicants based in London are prioritised but not necessary. Secretariat members are expected to be able to commit to fortnightly online meetings and monthly in-person meetings in London. Most roles are expected to commit around 10-15 hours per week to their position, but there are busier and quieter periods depending on the role.
All applicants should highlight relevant experience, both MUN and non-MUN and examples that fulfil the criteria and show competence in holding positions on the Secretariat as well as their motivations. You may also state your plans for the upcoming year and any other commitments that would require a bulk of your time that may need to be considered.
All positions will be able to contribute to general decision-making discussions during Secretariat meetings. There will be opportunities for personal growth beyond immediate roles.
The LIMUN Foundation hopes that Secretariat members will be able to develop themselves both personally and professionally through such a large-scale project such as LIMUN. The Foundation will also offer other avenues to do so such as mentorship opportunities with the Board of Trustees, who work professionally and/or study across a wide range of sectors, including finance, politics, journalism, and research.
