LIMUN Foundation
The LIMUN Foundation is a charitable organisation that promotes cultural empathy, understanding of international affairs, and awareness of the United Nations among young people.
For students, by students
First known as LoMUN (London Model United Nations), LIMUN was conceived by students from the University of London who wanted to organise an annual Model UN event in the cosmopolitan city of London - a fitting place for the ideals that embody the United Nations and where the world organisation was first based.
The LIMUN Foundation
LIMUN Foundation stands for London International Model United Nations Foundation. We organise Europe’s largest Model United Nations Conference, which regularly attracts university students from more than 50 nations, and runs an annual High School Conference in London.
Model United Nations
Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations.
By equipping youth with mediation, analytical and leadership skills while stressing cosmopolitan values and the interdependence of the modern world, we hope to foster future world leaders who will face global challenges with a spirit of international cooperation.
Beyond Conferences
In addition to annual Model United Nations Conferences for both university and high school students, we run multiple outreach, careers, and professional skill initiatives through digital platforms.
We are accredited by the United Nations Department of Global Communications and have recently partnered with the UN75 campaign to commemorate the United Nation's 75th anniversary.
