Step into diplomacy for a weekend
The 27th Edition of the London International Model United Nations University Conference (LIMUN UC) will be hosted from the 20th to the 22nd of February 2026. The Opening Ceremony will be held at Central Hall Westminster while the committee sessions are held at King’s College London, Strand Campus.
London International Model United Nations is one of Europe’s largest and longest-running Model United Nations conferences, held annually in London.
Bringing together students from across the world, LIMUN offers a high-level simulation of UN bodies through rigorous debate, negotiation, and diplomacy, set in an iconic international setting. With dedicated University and High School conferences, LIMUN combines academic depth, professional organisation, and an unforgettable conference experience which prepares the next generation of global leaders to think critically, speak confidently, and act collaboratively on international issues.
First known as LoMUN (London Model United Nations), LIMUN was conceived by students from the University of London who wanted to organise an annual Model UN event in the cosmopolitan city of London - a fitting place for the ideals that embody the United Nations and where the world organisation was first based.
For students, by students
The Foundation
The London International Model United Nations Foundation (the LIMUN Foundation) organises Europe’s largest Model United Nations conference, which regularly attracts university students from more than 50 nations, as well as running an annual High School Conference in London.
Model United Nations
Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations.
By equipping the youth with skills in mediation, analysis, and leadership, while stressing cosmopolitan values and the interdependence of the modern world, we hope to develop future world leaders who will face global challenges with a spirit of international cooperation.
Our hoodies are now on sale!
The official LIMUN 2026 Hoodie draws inspiration from the 1946 postage stamp created for the first United Nations General Assembly in London, reimagined as a modern symbol of diplomacy and dialogue.
Beyond Conferences
In addition to annual Model United Nations Conferences for both university and high school students, we run multiple outreach, careers, and professional skill initiatives through digital platforms.
We are accredited by the United Nations Department of Global Communications and have recently partnered with the UN75 campaign to commemorate the United Nation's 75th anniversary.
