2021 HS Secretariat
The LIMUN Foundation is a charity and we rely on the talent and generosity of amazing student volunteers to deliver our two annual conferences.
All day-to-day management of the LIMUN High School (“HS”) Conference is delegated to a volunteer Secretariat made up of university students and MUN participants, led by our Secretary General.
The 2021 Secretariat is made up of students from British universities, particularly KCL, UCL, LSE, and Leeds as opposed to being run only by one university or school. As such LIMUN has a unique diversity of students serving as the Secretariat Members.
In order to continue to deliver two conferences annually, we need the delegates of today to be sufficiently impacted by their experience so they too want to give back by volunteering in the future. If that’s you and you’re interested in joining a future Secretariat, send us an email - we’d be delighted to hear from you!

ByeongKyu Jun, Secretary-General, HS
ByeongKyu "Colin" Jun is a third-year International Relations student at King's College London. As a Korean student, Colin has a life-long goal of contributing to sustainable peace in East Asia and promoting social and economic development in less developed countries. With a strong passion for international affairs, he has participated in 20+ Model UN Conferences, and besides LIMUN: HS, he also serves as the President of KCL United Nations Association.
-
Teodor Yankov, Deputy Secretary-General, HS
Teodor, a Bulgarian second-year student of Politics and IR at UCL, joined MUN 6 years ago after his school’s knitting club had no space. Little did he know that it would cultivate his passion for youth empowerment, human rights and sustainable development, working with UN officials, academics and civil society as a UN Millennium Fellow, LGBT+ rights activist and UCLUNA principal officer. In his free time (AKA once in a blue moon) you can find him crying at Netflix rom-com (or anything really), drawing, reading, journaling, basking in the beauty of nature or wondering what to wear.

Terry Batnasan, USG for Chairing
Hey everyone! My name is Terry and I am really excited to be the USG for Chairing here at LIMUN HS Edition VI. I first started my LIMUN journey 3 years ago and I can't believe this will my 7th one. I can't wait to be able to once again offer a hybrid approach to LIMUN and get to meet all the familiar faces both online and in-person and make even more beautiful memories.
-
Jeyan Chung, USG for Communications
Jey is a Canadian who was born in Hong Kong and lived in Malaysia for a few years, so it’s only fitting that she’s studying BSc Politics and International Relations at UCL. She loves giving other people the opportunity to explore themselves and to grow, so she’s been organizing conferences since early 2018! Other than that, Jey loves music, exploring and horror - always waiting for some thrill.
-
Zi Han Xuan, USG for Logistics
Zi Han is a second-year Philosophy, Politics, and Economics student at UCL. Having stumbled into the MUN circuit by accident, he has since staffed conferences in Beijing, Singapore, Geneva, and Cambridge. Outside of MUN, he serves as a UNHCR Young Champion and the East Asia Focal Point at MGCY Migration. In his free time, he enjoys rooftop photography, surrealist literature, and travelling to Nordic dreamscapes.
-
Harsh Sinha, USG for Finance
Harsh is a 3rd Year student of International Relations at King's College London. His interests primarily lie in Foreign Policy and Finance. His MUN journey started with accidental participation in 2016, and he has participated (and chaired) in more than 15 committees since, winning Best Delegate at UCLMUN and Cambridge University MUN. Apart from MUN, his interest lies in cooking (you might find him volunteering at random cafes throughout), playing cricket, and hiking.

Eshana Amarasinghe, USG for Outreach
I'm Eshana, your USG Outreach for LIMUN: HS 2021! I'm an Undergraduate at LSE, currently reading BSc. Philosophy, Politics and Economics (yes, very much a MUN 'type' there). I really enjoy doing social service and Outreach-related work whenever I can, both home and abroad. This, coupled with my long-standing interest in MUN and international affairs, is what makes this post at LIMUN an exciting one for me. Outside this, I am also a foodie and theatre-fanatic. If I'm not on campus, you'd most likely find me hunting down West End tickets on TodayTix at one of the cafés around the corner!

Daphney Ngounou, USG for Applications
Daphney is a former Parisian who’s slowly but surely becoming a true Londoner. Undergraduate at King’s College London, studying European politics and learning Mandarin. MUNer for already 3 years, fell in love with the world and people of MUN. Now the goal is to share the experience with people and help them to fully enjoy it!
