The LIMUN Foundation is seeking several new trustees to strengthen our board. We are also looking for a new Chair to lead the board.
We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic individuals with skills that will help enhance the board's capacity to oversee and support our core programmes and other initiatives.
Our core programmes include our flagship annual conference, the London International Model United Nations, the largest event of its kind in Europe for students in higher education with over 1,500 bright young people attending each year from around the world; and the London International Model United Nations: High School, a conference of 300 to 400 students in sixth form and below. The conference organising teams are students and recent graduates stemming from the University of London and surrounding institutions.
Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to our mission to promote cultural empathy, understanding of international affairs and awareness of the United Nations among young people, with a view to fostering a generation of cosmopolitan-minded leaders. We wish to hear from a great variety of candidates, especially (but not exclusively) from persons with experience in accounting, law, communications/marketing, education and teaching, compliance, IT and software development.
Please apply by 16 February 2019, to firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV and cover letter. Feel free to send us any and all enquiries, we'll endeavor to respond quickly.
