**Summits

A Summit, at this conference, is a session called by the United Nations to discuss a topic that is larger than the mandate of a single Committee but can be dealt with by two or more committees with a general mandate. The mandate of the Summit has been given by the Secretary-General to the various committees to discuss the theme presented to them by the United Nations. The individual topic of the Summit will be determined by the Secretary-General and the Under-Secretary-General Chairing and communicated to the Committee Daises and members at least a month before the Conference.
